If you’re anything like me, spills happen. Between pets, kids, or just life, messes are unavoidable. I recently got to try out the BISSELL Little Green Mini Portable Carpet Cleaner thanks to my grandfather, who originally bought it to clean his car. Let’s just say… I’ve pretty much taken it over since!
🧼 My Honest Experience Using the BISSELL Little Green
The first time I used it, I had spilled sauce on a rug—gross, I know. I expected it to be a hassle, but it honestly couldn’t have been easier. I did a single slow pass, and it already looked way better. One or two more passes and it was spotless. It’s especially great for newer stains, but even older messes got a serious upgrade.
I’ve now used it on:
- My rug
- Couch at home
- Bean bags at work
- Carpet
- Mattress & bedding (including blood stains—yikes)
- My car seats
- Anytime I dog-sit, just in case there’s an accident
💡 My Pro Tips:
- Go slow. It pulls up way more when you give it time.
- Expect surprises. You’ll see dirt you didn’t even know was there.
- Clean-up is simple. Just empty the dirty water and give it a rinse.

If you have pets, kids, or just want peace of mind that your furniture and floors are actually clean, I can’t recommend this tool enough. It’s small, effective, and surprisingly powerful. It’s now one of my favorite cleaning tools—hands down.
